Resource Centre
CDD has a Resource Centre, located at our London offices on Essex Road.
The Resource Centre is open from 9am - 5pm to academics, students,
journalists, and those with a keen interest in West African affairs (diaspora
groups are especially welcome.) but please telephone or email to let us know you
are coming.
We currently have a stock of scholarly and journalistic books, most of which
relate specifically to the socio-political dynamics of West Africa. Our
collection also covers subjects relevant to the African continent as a whole,
such as general African socio-political issues, development issues, conflict,
gender, children, environment, civil-military relations and human rights issues.
We
also receive a regular supply of selected West African newspapers and weekly
African news magazines. For your information, a summary of our periodical
archive is listed below.
If you would like to make use of the Resource Centre, please contact the Resource &
Publications Assistant, email: mhagen @ cdd.org.uk,
or Tel: 0 207 359 7775.
